Altered Book #3

I made this book for my friend Elizabeth. We don’t get to spend much time together but I really enjoy her company when we do! You can see her blog Full of Grace-n-Blessings Fivefold herePosted by Picasa

  1. ALL of these are so cool, Leah!

I especially like seeing your ability to use the same general materials on each journal to result in three beautiful journals that each have a different “feel” (if I can use that word to describe something I’m seeing!).

I think you did a great job matching design with personality, too. Well done!

  2. Leah,
I agree with Abbie…I didn’t have time to look at everyone’s journals at church, because we were having my family over for lunch after church, and all of a sudden, everyone wanted to leave before Sunday School (Bob was going home early to get things ready and we got home at the same time, so we had to scramble to get ready!)
In any case, it was neat to see how each journal was similar, yet different!

I love my journal- I haven’t decided exactly what to use mine for because, like Rebecca, I don’t want to use a few pages and sit it on a shelf somewhere, but it Will be used, and it is already enjoyed (I have it out so that I can look at it often!

Thank you so much, and I too hope that in this New Year we can spend more time together my friend!

  3. Abby,

Thanks so much for the compliment! I feel quite honored! You are such a talented artist that I sometimes feel silly posting my creations.

I’m so glad you enjoy looking at your journal! I’m sure you’ll think of something to use it for! I’m glad you have it out to look at! 😉

We will have to make an effort to get together more often in this new year!
